DISTRICT PLANNING AND MONITORING UNIT

DISRICT PLANNING AND MONITORING UNIT, ANGUL has been functioning in its own building near Fish Market and LIC Office from 2014. Prior to this DPMU was functioning in the DRDA building. Comprehensive District Annual Plan, Five Year Plan,MPLADS, MLALADS, Spl. Problem Funds, Special Development Programme, Western Odisha Development Council Fund and Critical Gap Fund are dealing in this office.

District Planning and Monitoring Unit is coming under administrative control of Planning and Convergence department, Odisha,Bhubaneswar.

History/ Background/Objective / Purpose of the Public Authority:

District Planning Unit has been functioning as per notification No-49137/P,Dt-07.01.1992 of Planning and Co-ordination department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
The prime objective of this office is to formulate District Annual Plan / Five year Plan/ Perspective Plan of the district.
